When I first moved to Spain

When I first moved to Spain when I was twenty I would go out dancing most nights until morning, stumbling home on the cobble stone streets biting a fresh baguette. The nuns would walk by me and a feeling of judgement would come over me. To the point that I didn't want anything to do with them and would avoid them. This past week I helped teach a four day course for transpersonal energy healing. The nuns of Saint Francis of Assisi let us use a building at their sanctuary. For the first time I spoke to a nun. We spoke in Spanish and she lit up when she told me how St. Francis "took her". There was a feeling of peace in her voice and being. Realizing how my feeling judged is mine. Looking at all the times this feeling has kept me from connection.
